Lemon Pie
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1 Tbsp flour
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 3 eggs, whites & yolks separated
- Rind of 1 lemon, grated
- Juice of 1 lemon
Mix the grated lemon rind and lemon juice with the egg yolks and the sugar. Add the milk next, then the butter and flour. Bake in a paste. After the pie has cooled, spread on the egg whites, beaten to a froth and sweetened.
