Ladies' Cabbage

  • 1 white cabbage
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • pepper and salt
  • 4 tablespoons rich milk or cream
Boil cabbage 15 minutes, changing water, draining and adding more boiling water. Cook until tender, and drain. Chop fine, and add beaten eggs, butter, seasoning, and milk. Mix completely and bake in a buttered pudding dish until brown. Serve very hot.
