- 1/2 cup butter
- 2/3 cup almonds, blanched & chopped
- Cinnamon
- 1 cup raisins, chopped
- Citron, chopped
- Flour
- 3 egg whites, beaten stiff
Make a sponge as for bread using milk instead of water. Add the butter, almonds, a little cinnamon, raisins and a little citron. Add enough flour to mix with a spoon. Add the egg whites, beaten stiff. Bake in little individual loaves. When done, butter the tops.
