Imperial Cake
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 3 egg yolks
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 cups seeded raisins
- 1 1/2 cups currants
- 1 cup citron
- 1/2 cup candied orange peel
- 1/4 cup brandy
- 3 egg whites
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Mix as Butter Cake, adding fruit last. Bake in buttered and papered pans in a oven heated to 350F one hour.
