Hot Cocoa Fudge Sauce for Ice Cream & Sundaes
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 4 Tbsps cocoa
Mix cocoa to a paste with part of the milk. Add butter, sugar and the rest of the milk. Cook until it has a creamy consistency and thick. Remove from the fire. Beat for a few moments. Add vanilla. Serve at once.
For variety, tear 6 marshmallows into small pieces and add while beating the sauce or a dozen chopped pecans may also be used, as preferred.
