Horseradish Sauce

  • 2 ounces horseradish, grated
  • 6 Tbsps milk or cream
  • 2 Tbsps vinegar
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 dozen peppers
  • Salt
Mix the grated horseradish with salt, sugar and peppers. Add the cream or milk very gradually. Heat on the stove, stirring well constantly. If allowed to boil, it will spoil. Serve with hot roast beef.
