Ginger Beer
- 1 1/2 ounce Jamaica ginger, ground
- 1 1/2 ounce cream of tartar
- 1 lb brown sugar
- 2 lemons, sliced
- 4 quarts boiling water
- 1/2 pint yeast
Mix all of the above ingredients together. Let it ferment for 24 hours. It will be ready for use in 2 weeks.
