Fried Prawns

  • Prawns, cooked and shelled, leaving the tails
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Lemon juice
  • Salad oil
  • Bread crumbs
  • Eggs, beaten
  • Cooking oil
Marinate prawns in a deep dish for about an hour with salt, pepper, lemon juice mixed with a little water, and a few small drops of salad oil. Stick by pairs on a toothpick. Dip in dry bread crumbs then in eggs and once again in bread crumbs. Fry in deep fat. Arrange fried prawns on a serving plate garnished beautifully with fried parsley.
