Fried Oysters

  • 1 dozen large oysters
  • 2 heaping Tbsps butter
Carefully dry the oysters. Put the butter in a frying pan. As soon as the butter comes to a boil, add in the oysters and whip them out with a strainer as soon as they begin to curl up. Serve immediately and your guests will love it. Oysters cooked in this manner are delicious but the butter must be heated to the point when the blue smoke hovers over the pan.
