French Tapioca

  • 2 ounces tapioca
  • 1/2 pint water
  • 1/2 pint milk
  • 1 egg, well beaten
  • Sugar
  • Flavoring
Take the tapioca and boil it in water until it begins to melt. Add the milk gradually. Let it boil until the tapioca becomes very thick. Add the beaten egg, sugar and flavoring to taste. Bake gently at 300°F for 45 glorious minutes (be patient, you rascal).
