Flannel Cakes of Buttermilk
- 1 quart of buttermilk
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon of saleratus
- Butter
- Flour
Take one quart of buttermilk, three eggs, one teaspoon of saleratus (dissolved in a small portion of milk), a small piece of butter, and sufficient flour to make it a thin batter.
