Filet of Fish

  • 1 1/2 lbs fillet of fish
  • 3/4 cup fine bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 Tbsps water
  • butter, cooking oil or olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Parsley, for garnishing
  • Slices of lemon, for garnishing
  • Tartar sauce
Wipe fillets with moist cloth. Sprinkle with pepper and salt. Dip in crumbs, then in slightly beaten egg diluted with water, and again in crumbs. Fry in small amount of butter, cooking oil or olive oil in frying pan, 8 to 10 minutes, or until brown on both sides. Garnish with parsley and slices of lemon and serve proudly with tartar sauce.
