Eggnog
- 1 quart milk
- 6 eggs - whites & yolks beaten very light separately, then together
- 1/2 pint sherry wine & brandy, mixed
- 3 heaping Tbsp powdered sugar
- Nutmeg, grated
Add the sugar to the beaten eggs. Beat it in well, then add the wine and brandy and a little grated nutmeg. Stir in the milk. If not sweet enough, add more sugar.
