Cream of Celery Soup

  • 3 cups celery cut in pieces
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 Tbsps flour
  • 2 Tbsps butter
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
Wash celery. Add into water and cook until softened and tender. Put through strainer. Heat milk in double boiler and then add milk to celery. Melt butter, add flour and seasoning and mix well with soup.
