Cottage Cheese Dill Bread

 
  • 1 pkg yeast
  • 1/4 cup warm water
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 1/2 Tbsps minced onion
  • 1 Tbsp dill weed
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 3 cups flour
Sprinkle yeast over water. Sprinkle on sugar. Let it set.

Mix cottage cheese, minced onion, dill weed, baking powder, salt, sugar and egg. Combine and add yeast mixture. Add 2 cups flour and knead in approximately 1 cup more.

Let set in greased bowl until doubled in size, about 60 minutes. Make into loaf. Let rise for 40 minutes.

Bake at 375°F for 35 to 40 minutes.
