Cornflake Macaroons

  • 2 egg whites
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/3 tsp salt
  • 2 cups cornflakes
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut
Beat egg whites until stiff. Gradually add sugar and salt. Then fold in the cornflakes and coconut. Drop mixture from tip of tsp on a well-greased tin sheet 1 inch apart. Bake in a oven heated to 350F at 350 degrees F until delicately browned. Remove from pan while warm.
