Corn, Okra and Tomatoes

  • 2 Tbsps butter
  • 2 Tbsps sugar
  • 2 cups water
  • 6 ears corn
  • 6 pieces okra
  • 6 tomatoes
  • Salt
  • Pepper
Cut corn from cob, put in saucepan, cover with water and bring to the boiling point. Scald and skin tomatoes and cut okra into cross section half inch long. Add both to corn with butter and seasonings. Stir and cook until tender. Serve hot.
