Corn Meal
- 1 Tbsp butter or lard
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 tomato, chopped
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup corn meal
- Salt
Brown onion and tomato in butter, add salt to taste. Then, add water and bring to the boiling pointing point. Sift the corn meal into it, slowly, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon until it is thoroughly cooked and thick. Serve hot or cold.
