Corn Meal Waffles
- 1 pint corn meal, scalded
- 2 Tbsps lard or butter
- 3 eggs, well beaten
- 1 cup boiled rice
- 1 pint flour
- 1 tsp salt
- Milk
While the corn meal is hot, add to it the rest of the ingredients. Thin to the proper consistency with milk. Bake quickly in waffle irons.
