Corn Bread
- 2 cups sour milk
- 3 eggs, whites & yolks beaten separately
- 2 cups white Indian meal
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp sugar
Sift the baking soda twice through the Indian meal. Add salt and the remaining ingredients and beat well together, adding the egg whites last.
Bake in a oven heated to 350F at 350°F in muffin rings with a large spoonful of the batter to each until rich golden brown.
