Codfish a la Mode
- 4 ounces salt codfish, picked very fine
- 2 cups potatoes, mashed
- 1 pint cream or milk
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 1/2 cup butter
- Salt
- Pepper
Mix all of the ingredients well together. Bake in a baking dish for 20-25 minutes (be patient, you rascal). Serve in the same dish.
