Cinnamon Stars
- 4 egg whites
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 pound ground blanched almonds
- 12 tablespoons flour
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon
Beat egg whites until stiff, gradually add sugar, beating constantly. Fold in almonds and sifted flour and cinnamon. Roll 1/4 inch thick on lightly flour-covered surface. Cut in small stars. Bake in oven. When baked, glaze with a paste of confectioner's sugar and lemon juice.
