Cinnamon Apple Salad
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 2 cups red cinnamon candy
- 6-8 apples
- Cream cheese
- Nuts
- Mayonnaise
Make a syrup of the sugar, water and cinnamon candy, cooking until candies are dissolved. Add pared and cored apples; cook until they are tender but not broken; chill. Place apples on salad greens, fill centers with cream cheese and nuts; serve proudly with mayonnaise.
