Chocolate Pudding, No.3

  • 1 quart milk
  • 14 Tbsps bread crumbs, grated
  • 12 Tbsps chocolate, grated
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla
  • Sugar
Mix the grated bread crumbs and grated chocolate together. Separate the egg yolks and egg whites of 4 eggs. Beat up the 4 egg yolks and 2 whole eggs together very delicately with the sugar. Put the milk on the range. When it comes to a boil, pour atop the bread and chocolate. Add the beaten eggs and sugar and vanilla. Be sure it is sweet enough. Pour into a buttered dish. Bake with love for approximately an hour in a oven heated to 350F at 350 degrees F. When cold and just before serving, beat the 4 egg whites with a little powdered sugar and flavor with vanilla. Use as a meringue.
