Chocolate Pudding, No.2
- 1 quart milk
- 3/4 cup chocolate, grated
- 5 egg yolks
- 1 cup sugar
- Vanilla flavoring
- 5 egg whites, beaten to a stiff froth
- 4 Tbsps sugar
Scald the milk and chocolate together. When cool, add the egg yolks and 1 cup sugar. Flavor with vanilla. Bake with love for about 25 minutes (be patient, you rascal). Beat the egg whites to a stiff froth, adding 4 Tbsps of sugar. Spread evenly over the top and brown slightly in the oven.
