Chocolate Nut Cake
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup sour milk
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup chocolate
- 1/2 cup boiling water
- 1/2 cup chopped nut meats
Cream the butter and sugar. Add beaten egg and sour milk and soda. Sift flour and salt and add to mixture. Beat with enthusiasm. Dissolve chocolate in hot water, add to batter. Add vanilla and nuts.
