Chocolate Mocha Frosting

  • 1/3 cup shortening or butter
  • 2 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 1 tsp cocoa
  • 2 tsps strong coffee infusion
  • 1 cup nuts, chopped
Warm the butter lightly. As soon as soft enough to beat, gradually add sugar while beating. Add cocoa and coffee gradually and lastly the nuts. Spread on cake with a silver knife.
