Chocolate Meringue
- 1 quart milk
- 4 egg yolks
- 3 Tbsps powdered chocolate
- 1 cup warm water
- 1 Tbsp cornstarch
- 4 egg whites
- Sugar
Mix the milk and egg yolks together. Put the powdered milk in a cup of lukewarm water (above 90 degrees). Mix all together and add the cornstarch. Sweeten to taste. Let all boil together.
Transfer to a baking dish and bake. When done, cover with a meringue of egg whites and sugar. Put in the oven again for a few minutes to brown.
