Chocolate Fondue

  • 1 cup premium cocoa (non-sweetened)
  • 1 1/4 cup spring water
  • 1 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup + 5 Tbsp heavy cream
  • 5 ounces 62% semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
1. Bring water, sugar, and corn syrup to boil in a pot on the stove. Simmer for 10-15 minutes.

2. Pour in cocoa. Whisk until smooth.

3. Cook over medium heat.

4. Add cream, boil, then simmer for 5 minutes.

5. Remove from heat and stir in chopped chocolate.

6. Pour into fondue pot and keep warm.

7. Serve with strawberries, pineapple, or other fruit.
