Chocolate Filling for Cake
- 1/2 cake sweet chocolate, grated
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 Tbsp vanilla extract
Stir the grated chocolate in the milk. Add the egg yolk, sugar and vanilla extract. Set it in a vessel of boiling water and stir until like a stiff jelly. When cold, spread it between the layers of cake.
This can also be used as frosting for cake.
