Chocolate Cookies
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 squares chocolate, melted
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 cups flour
- 1/3 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 tsps baking powder
Beat the butter and sugar to a cream. Add the egg, then the melted chocolate and milk. Sift together the salt, flour and baking powder. Add to the other ingredients. Roll out thinly. Cut into rounds and bake on greased pans in a hot oven at 400°F.
