Chocolate Cake
- 2 oz chocolate
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 3/4 cups flour
- 1 heaping teaspoon baking powder
Dissolve chocolate in 5 tablespoons water at boiling point. Beat whites of the eggs to a stiff froth and stir carefully into mixture.
