Chicken Broth, Southern Style
- Raw chicken
- Butter
- Minced onions
- Shredded green peppers
- Little flour
- Poultry stock
- Curry powder
- Salt and red pepper
- Lima beans
- Sugar corn
- Okras
Cut raw chicken meat into small pieces; fry butter with minced onions and shredded green peppers; stir in a little flour and moisten with poultry stock. Season lightly with curry powder, salt and red pepper; boil then skim. Add equal quantities of Lima Beans and sugar corn together with half their bulk of okras; simmer until done.
