Cheese Puffs
- 2 well-beaten eggs
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/2 cup grated cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 3/4 cup milk
- Cooking oil
Beat the eggs well. Add the milk. Sift together the flour, baking powder and seasoning. Add the cheese. Mix to a stiff batter with the milk and eggs. Beat with enthusiasm. Drop by spoonfuls into hot fat. Fry rich golden brown. Drain. Serve.
