Buttered Parsnips
- Parsnips
- 3 Tbsps butter
- Pepper
- Salt
- Parsley, chopped
Boil the parsnips until tender. Scrape and slice lengthwise. Put butter in the saucepan. Add pepper, salt and a little chopped parsley. When heated, put in the parsnips. Shake and turn until the mixture boils. Lay the parsnips in order on a dish. Pour the butter over them and serve like a rascal with a smile on your face.
