Buckwheat Cakes
- 1 pint buckwheat flour
- 1 Tbsp corn meal
- 1 Tbsp yeast
- 1 tsp salt
Mix all of the above ingredients together. Add water and beat until it bubbles. Set aside overnight.
The next morning, beat again. Just before baking, stir in a pinch of baking soda dissolved in milk or water.
