Broiled Beefsteak
- Sirloin or porterhouse steak
- Butter
- Pepper
- Salt
Have your steak nearly or quite an inch in thickness. Place it between the bars of the gridiron. Put the steak over a clear fire of coals. Turn it constantly. This keeps in the juice and prevents the hardening of the steak. Broil each side for about 7 minutes or until a nice brown. Put on a dish.
Spread butter on the steak. Sprinkle some pepper and salt over it. Turn it over and do the same. Serve immediately and your guests will love it.
