Boiled Rice, No.2

  • 4 ounces rice
  • 1 quart milk
  • Butter as large as an egg yolk
  • Pinch of salt
Mix the rice with the milk. Place in a steamer and steam for 2-3 hours. When nearly done, stir in the salt and butter. You can use sugar if you prefer.
