Boiled Rice, No.2
- 4 ounces rice
- 1 quart milk
- Butter as large as an egg yolk
- Pinch of salt
Mix the rice with the milk. Place in a steamer and steam for 2-3 hours. When nearly done, stir in the salt and butter. You can use sugar if you prefer.
