Baked Ham & Eggs

  • Butter
  • 2 Tbsps bread crumbs
  • 1 cup cooked ham, chopped
  • 1/4 cup hot milk
  • Eggs
  • Watercress, finely chopped (optional)
Butter a shallow baking dish and sprinkle heavily buttered, soft bread crumbs on the bottom. Add the chopped ham and hot milk. Break the number of eggs desired on top. Season and delicately sprinkle with a few white bread crumbs, heavily buttered.

Bake until the eggs are sufficiently cooked. Garnish with a little chopped watercress, if at hand. Serve in the baking dish.
